Tonsil Hemomstat Clamp

Description: This tonsil hemostat clamp was used by surgeons during tonsillectomies to put pressure on the tonsil to stop bleeding and to ensure that it did not fall into the throat upon removal. Gauze would be attached to the sharp points and placed at the location of the tonsil while the flat side would be placed outside the mouth. Upon placement, the clamp would then be tightened.
